David M. Traboulay

Prof. Traboulay has written extensively on Colonial Latin America, especially on the encounter between Europeans and the indigenous peoples of America. In 1993 he published Columbus and Las Casas: The Conquest and Christianization of America, 1492to 1577.  He has published several articles on the cultures and politics of India and Latin America.  Recently he has completed a book-length manuscript on Mahatma Gandhi’s Satyagraha and a biography of the West Indies cricketer Ramadhin.
