At a crucial moment in US-Iranian relations, GC faculty member Peter Beinart hosts two experts with decidedly different perspectives. His guests are Michael Doran, senior fellow at the Hudson Institute and former senior director in the National Security Council under President George W. Bush, and Trita Parsi, founder and president of the National Iranian American Council and author of A Single Roll of the Dice: Obama’s Diplomacy with Iran. In this new series, Beinart, a contributing editor for the Atlantic and National Journal, welcomes leading thinkers representing diverse points of view. The talks will take place in the Graduate Center’s legendary Dining Commons, where every day students and faculty engage in stimulating conversation. Now you can do the same, while learning about the most important topics of our time. Light snacks will be offered.

(NOTE: the April 28 Conversations in the Commons event has been canceled.)
