A Message from the Vice President for Student Affairs

As Vice President for Student Affairs, I, along with Student Affairs and Student Services, am here to support students in a variety of ways.

We are responsible for the provision of such student services as Admissions, Registration, International Students, and General Housing Information, and for other support services and activities such as Wellness Health Services and Counseling, Career Planning and Professional Development, Teaching and Learning Center, Student Disability Services, student government and related activities and initiatives, coordination of doctoral student employee health insurance, Graduate Center Apartments, and the Child Development and Learning Center. We advise students and faculty on academic policies and procedures, including academic integrity matters, and oversee procedural student academic matters as well as the administrative resolution of disputes, including grades, satisfactory progress, disciplinary matters, and student complaints.

As Vice President for Student Affairs, I am directly concerned with your well-being and will assist students with problems and serve in an ombuds role when needed.

Student Affairs is responsible for the following publications: Graduate Center Student Handbook, Student Affairs Newsletter, and the Health Insurance and Selected Resources Guide.

We are here to support you, let us know when we can help.
