Unofficial transcripts are available at no cost through CUNYfirst Student Self-Service or from your Dossier Account. Official transcripts may be requested by the following three methods (Online, By Mail, or In-Person).
- Pricing: $7.00 per transcript (online, by mail, or in-person). CUNY transcript sent to a CUNY School is free.
- There is a $2.00 convenience service charge per transcript for all internet orders.

The Graduate Center provides a service which allows students to request and pay for an official transcript online. Students using this online service are responsible for the $7.00 transcript fee (unless it is going directly to another CUNY campus) plus a $2.00 convenience service charge. Payment is available by any major credit card or debit card. Upon receipt of requests, transcripts are processed in 2-4 business days. Overnight express option is available.

Download The Graduate Center transcript request form and return the completed form to the Registrar's Office for processing. Payment by check or money order payable to The CUNY Graduate Center. Upon receipt of requests, transcripts are processed in 2-4 business days. A transcript will not be sent if the student has any holds on record (i.e. Bursar, Library, Financial Aid, etc.) The hold must be cleared before any transcript can be sent.
Bring your completed transcript request form to the Registrar's Office located in room 7201 during regular business hours. Payment can be made by cash at the Office of the Bursar or by check or money order at the Registrar's Office. Requests are processed in 2-4 business days. If a transcript is to be picked up in-person by someone on the student's behalf, a valid photo ID and a signed written consent from the student is required.
A transcript will not be sent if the student has any holds on record (i.e. Bursar, Library, Financial Aid, etc.) The hold must be cleared before any transcript can be sent.
