Fernanda Santos (Earth and Environmental Sciences) coauthored “Stable Isotopic Analysis of Pyrogenic Organic Matter in Soils by Liquid Chromatography—Isotope–Ratio Mass Spectrometry of Benzene Polycarboxylic Acids” in the 2011 issue of Rapid Communications in Mass Spectrometry. She also coauthored “Biographical Degradation of Pyrogenic Organic Matter in Temperate Forest Soils,” which is forthcoming in the 2012 issue of Soil Biology & Biochemistry. This year, from June 4 to 6, she will participate in the Earth Science Women Network Professional Development Workshop “Networking and Communications” at the Pyle Center at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
