The Doctor of Public Health (DPH) program at the Graduate Center as part of the CUNY School of Public Health is proud to announce select recent student accomplishments.
Bill Sothern (Environmental and Occupational Health Track, 2010 cohort) was featured in the NY Times article “Mold, Come Out With Your Hands Up.” He also served as a panelist in the Shale Gas Extraction (Fracking) & Public Health – Panel Discussion on May 7 at the Roosevelt House Public Policy Institute at Hunter College.
Sonia González-Gladstein (Community, Society and Health Track, 2009 cohort) wrote “Perspectives from the Field: Community Resilience in Post-Sandy Red Hook, Brooklyn,” which appears on the McSilver Institute for Poverty Policy and Research website.
Margaret Wolff (Community, Society and Health Track, 2012 cohort), a first-year student, coauthored with DPH faculty members Christian Grov and Jeffrey T. Parsons "Male clients of male escorts: Satisfaction, sexual behavior, and demographic characteristics," which has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Sex Research.
