Description

Ever notice how jingles you heard twenty years ago stay with you in perfect detail? Musical and rhythmic settings of language engage the brain in ways that are extremely helpful for language learners, and can be tailored to practice or emphasize many different language elements, particularly prosodic features such as stress, intonation, and timing. We will try out different activity types that target these areas, and look at quick and easy ways to develop original musical and rhythmic materials.
