Marie de Medici’s Ballets at the Court of Henri IV with MELINDA GOUGH, English, McMaster University

Melinda Gough is associate professor in the department of English and Cultural Studies and the graduate program in Gender Studies and Feminist Research at McMaster University. She is associate and managing editor of Early Theatre: A Journal Associated with the Records of Early English Drama. Her research interests include English and Italian epic, women’s court performance in early seventeenth-century France and England, and seventeenth-century gender debates.
