Support Us

Many organizations and individuals make vital contributions to CLAGS: The Center for LGBTQ Studies. It is through their generosity that CLAGS is able to fulfill its mission of improving the understanding of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and queer lives. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank our major donors and institutional members.

Your support of CLAGS is critical to establishing a legacy, dedicated to the study of historical, cultural, and political issues of vital concern to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer individuals and communities. Although we are housed at The Graduate Center, CUNY, we are a self-sustaining center where fundraising and philanthropic programs are done in-house. All CLAGS’s initiatives are administered through the efforts of our staff.

Your gift affords our community and scholars the opportunity of a one-of-a kind experience that celebrates scholarship, art, and activism from the voices of the LGBTQ community. With your help, CLAGS can continue to expose the community to current issues and ideas in an environment that encourages growth and participation.

Whether your gift is $100 or $100,000, it has a significant impact on the lives of students and our community — now and in the future — that far exceeds the actual dollar amount.
