The Compliance and Diversity Office is responsible for administering the CUNY Graduate Center’s recruitment, hiring, appointment, and equal opportunity policies and procedures ensuring compliance with related laws, rules, and regulations dealing with human rights. This includes providing the CUNY Graduate Center, Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY, and Macaulay Honors College communities with training on search procedures and human rights policies, developing and administering the Graduate Center's Affirmative Action Plan, collecting and analyzing employee statistical data, maintaining records and preparing and submitting required internal and external reports, investigating human rights complaints (i.e., sexual harassment, discrimination, etc.), and administering the internal discrimination procedures.

Comprehensive Ethics Training Course

This training course is required for all State officers and employees who file an annual Financial Disclosure Statement (FDS).

Upcoming Comprehensive Ethics Training Course (CETC) offered at the Graduate Center and by JCOPE will be posted here.

Ethics Seminar Refresher Training

This is an ongoing training requirment for FDS Filers who have successully completed the CETC  course and are rquired to continue their mandatory ethics training requirements.

Before registering for any professional development course, please confirm all details with your direct supervisor including work schedule, coverage, and cost. Employees can review the Spring 2023 Course Offerings on the Learning & Development website (https://www.cuny.edu/pdlm). 

Once approved, a confirmation email will be sent from University.Training@cuny.edu to you and your supervisor within 7 business days. Please note that there are a maximum number of participants per session. Interested employees can register by completing the Spring Course Registration Form.

Before registering for any professional development courses, staff must receive approval from their supervisor. Employees can review the Fall 2022 - Winter 2023 Course Catalog here.

Once approved by their supervisor, staff should complete the DCAS Training Application form found here and email it to CUNY University.Training@cuny.edu. Once registered, a confirmation email will be sent from University.Training@cuny.edu to the employee and their supervisor within 7 business days. Employees that are interested in a course should register as soon as possible in order to guarantee a seat.
