Diversity and Anti-Racism Resources

The Graduate Center is committed to advancing anti-racism in its policies and approaches to education and scholarly work. We acknowledge that dismantling racism within our institution and society at large is an ongoing process that involves vigilance and self-education. To that end, we offer members of our community this compendium of anti-racism resources that can be helpful in promoting awareness and understanding. The sources here include work by our own scholars, who are leading advocates for racial justice in their fields and in society. We invite you to delve into these resources and to let us know about others that can be added.

To start, The Graduate Center’s Mina Rees Library compiled this Anti-Racism and #BlackLivesMatter Resources list, which highlights the work of Graduate Center scholars as well as leading scholars and authors beyond the GC.
