Rafael Davis Portela (he/him) is a Ph.D. student in the History department, where he researches the role of transnational capital in the urban development in Latin America. He is also a member of the Center for Latin American, Caribbean and Latino Studies–CLACLS, and Adjunct Professor at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice, where he teaches courses on Latin American History. He is also into digital tools, and interested in anything related to teaching.
