Brown Bag Seminars

The seminar series serves as a platform for sharing ongoing research conducted by faculty, visiting scholars, and current or former Ph.D. students. Brown bag sessions are held every other week, depending on the term, covering various fields such as applied econometrics, human resources economics, financial economics, international/development, macro and monetary economics theory and policy, and public economics.

These sessions stimulate lively discussions, often extending beyond the scheduled time as participants engage in further conversations in the corridors or the lounge. The seminar series sometimes extends invitations to external speakers from various areas of economics, allowing them to share their research and insights with the audience.
