Henry Wasser Award Lecture: Tebedech Tekleab "Blue and Gray: This Era of Exile"

Kebedech Tekleab is assistant professor in the Department of Art and Design at Queensborough Community College.

Blue & Gray: This Era of Exile is a project that explores the global humanitarian crisis, precisely the issue of displacement, through visual art and poetry. It will culminate in a solo show at the American University Museum in Washington, DC, in the summer of 2023. The project aspires to create a mental space for its viewers to reflect upon the rifts that divide the human race and imagine building new bridges through knowledge and insight.
