Why Support the Graduate Center

The Graduate Center is one of the largest graduate schools in the country and the only public doctoral school in New York City to achieve the “highest research activity” designation in the Carnegie Classification system. It has long been a magnet for diverse and ambitious students from throughout New York City and the world.
Your gift to The Graduate Center helps students of all backgrounds pursue innovative research without the constant worry of making ends meet.
You will help Graduate Center scholars bring new ideas and beauty through their scholarship, artistry, and invention.
Your gift will also sustain excellence in teaching, as Graduate Center students teach many of the hundreds of thousands of undergraduate students throughout the CUNY system.
