Thank you for supporting the Art History Program at the CUNY Graduate Center.
The Graduate Center Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for profit organization. All gifts are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
The majority of donations are used to fund student grants for dissertation research and travel. We also use funds to:
- assist students' ability to travel to and present at conferences
- organize conferences at the CUNY Graduate Center and to invite scholars to campus
A major Mellon Grant was used to award one-year fellowships to students that placed them in museums working directly with a curator on a special exhibition; At the conclusion of this grant in 2024, we hope to continue that initiative through donations from alumni and friends.
Donations will go into our discretionary Art History fund. You may, however, earmark your donation by using the comment section on the form for curatorial training or summer research, for example.
If you would like to set up a recurring donation, such as annual support for giving a paper at a conference, please contact the Executive Office of the Ph.D. program in Art History (firstname.lastname@example.org) or our Institutional Advancement Office (email@example.com).
