Announcing formation of the new Office of Institutional Advancement and Communications

Dear faculty and staff,

I am pleased to announce that effective November 10, 2020 the Office of Institutional Advancement and the Office of Communications and Marketing will merge. The new Office of Institutional Advancement and Communications will be led by Wendy DeMarco Fuentes, current interim VP of Communications and Public Affairs.

Wendy is a seasoned marketing and fundraising professional who joined The Graduate Center in 2018. She has excelled in raising the public profile of The Graduate Center, as well as in generating revenue through managing the special events and rentals portfolio. Before joining The Graduate Center, Wendy was Chief Marketing Officer for Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City.

Please join me in offering sincere thanks to Jay Golan for leading the Office of Institutional Advancement since 2013. I appreciate the commitment of staff in both offices to ensuring a smooth and successful transition.
