ASHP/CML Wins NEH Grant for Summer Institute on Civil War Visual Culture

The American Social History Project/Center for Media and Learning has been awarded a $200,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities to run its second Summer Institute for College and University Teachers on the Visual Culture of the American Civil War." The institute will take place at the Graduate Center and at museum and historical venues in New York City for two weeks in July 2014. A new website based on the first NEH institute on the subject, in July 2012, features photos, videos, documents, and links."
