Best University Website Award for the Graduate Center
The Graduate Center received the Best University Website Award from the Web Marketing Association.

The Graduate Center is pleased to announce that it won a 2022 WebAward for Best University Website from the Web Marketing Association. The WebAwards, established in 1997, are a premier industry-based website award program.
The Graduate Center website stood out from the competition for its overall excellence and was judged for its design, ease of use, copywriting, interactivity, use of technology, innovation, and content.

Launched on February 15, 2022, the new Graduate Center website is designed to promote the Graduate Center's academic excellence, its commitment to diversity, and its impact on New York City and beyond through world-class research and events. The site encompasses over 1,400 pages for nearly 150 programs, offices, centers, and services. The result of a collaborative, years-long effort, the site features a bold, visually engaging design and is fully responsive and accessible.
The website redesign project involved contributors throughout the Graduate Center and was spearheaded by Kimberly Miu, director of digital media, and Erica Klein-Meisenhelter, web content manager/web strategist. Other members of the redesign team included Wendy DeMarco Fuentes, vice president for institutional advancement and communications; Alex Irklievski, senior manager of institutional design strategy; and Bonnie Eissner, director of communications. The redesign team worked closely with an advisory council composed of faculty, administrators, and students. The Graduate Center collaborated with development firm OHO Interactive and design firm Barrel on the redesign and launch of the website.
