Alyshia Gálvez presents her book, in conversation with Alexandra Delano Alonoso and Melissa Fuster. The event was co-sponsored with CUNY Graduate Center's PhD Program in Antrhopology, Phd Program in Latin American, Iberian and Latino Cultures, the Center for Latin American, Caribbean, and Latino Studies (CLACLS, the Meso American Studies Group, and The Feminist Press. 

Gálvez' book centers the impact of policies made following NAFTA on Mexico's food sustainability, agriculture, and social welfare. Alexandra Délano Alonso is associate professor and Chair of Global Studies under Public Engagement at The New School. Melissa Fuster is a food policy and public health nutrition scholar at Brooklyn College.
