Call for Entries to the 2015 CUNY Film Festival

Filmmakers from the CUNY community are eligible to submit their films to the seventh annual CUNY Film Festival at Macaulay Honors College. The deadline for entries is February 27.

Any film made primarily by currently enrolled CUNY undergraduates and graduate students, faculty, or alumni is eligible. Films of any genre or length and completed within the last two years will be considered. A panel of expert judges will select 10 finalists and three winners by March 10.

All winning films will be screened and prizes awarded to the top three films at an awards gala on March 29. The gala will be held at Macaulay Honors College and open to the public. In addition, the 10 finalists will be streamed online, and viewers will select the winner of the 'Viewers Choice' award.

The CUNY Film Festival is organized by the Macaulay New Media Lab. Started in 2009, the festival was the first event of its kind to showcase film and media work from Macaulay and the CUNY campuses.
