End of CUNY's COVID-19 Policies

Dear Graduate Center community,
With the end of the spring semester comes the termination of the CUNY COVID-19 policies, including the COVID testing program, vaccination requirements, and campus health screening entry policies. Below are important dates to keep in mind:
Thursday, May 18
CUNY’s COVID-19 testing services will conclude
On-campus COVID-19 testing services across CUNY will cease to operate. CUNY’s testing program, which covered the weekly random testing of the CUNY community and of individuals who had been granted a religious or medical exemption, will no longer be in effect.
Monday, May 22
GC campus entry returns to pre-pandemic practice
We will no longer use the Cleared4 pass to gain entrance to the Graduate Center. On this date, and going forward, students, faculty, and staff will only need to present their valid CUNY college ID to enter the building.
Tuesday, May 23
End to CUNY’s COVID-19 vaccination mandate on the last day of the spring term
CUNY will lift the COVID vaccine requirement as a condition of enrollment or employment, though we continue to encourage all students, faculty, and staff to stay up to date with their vaccinations.
CUNY’s announcement to end the emergency COVID-19 vaccine mandate can be viewed here. The Graduate Center’s COVID-19 Information and Safety Guidance has been updated and can be viewed here. If you have any questions about our updated COVID-19 guidelines, please email reactivation@gc.cuny.edu.
