Graduate Center Food Pantry Opens Sept. 12

Dear Graduate Center community,
We are pleased to announce that the Graduate Center Food Pantry will open on Tuesday, September 12. It is located on the eighth floor in room 8303. Our pantry is here to provide nutritional, non-perishable foods to students who are facing food insecurity.
The food pantry is staffed on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and is accessible by appointment on Mondays through Thursdays when not otherwise open. Please contact the Office of Student Affairs (room 7301, tel. 212-817-7400, or email studentaffairs@gc.cuny.edu) to make an appointment. To access the pantry, students will need to show a valid CUNY ID (no names will be recorded) and provide some basic information.
We are currently able to offer students five items per week, with additional items available for those with families. As we grow, we look forward to expanding the range of available food options and the funding that will support the pantry.
