Selfiecity, a data visualization project that investigates styles of self-portraits in five cities, was featured in a TIME article, "What's This All About?," published in July.

"Data Science and Digital Art History," Manovich's essay written for the first issue of the International Journal for Digital Art History, was also featured on the Mellon Foundation website.

His interactive installation 'On Broadway' will be presented by Ph.D. student Agustin Indaco (Ecocomics), one of four GC doctoral students who worked on the project, at NYC Media Lab's annual summit on September 25.
Manovich will also appear alongside Jeffrey Sachs and other luminaries at the European Forum for New Ideas in Poland next month.
