Ph.D. student Joe Boninger (Mathematics) was awarded a highly competitive National Science Foundation postdoctoral fellowship to work at Boston College after he graduates in June 2022.
Through its Mathematical Sciences Postdoctoral Research Fellowships, the NSF aims to support future leaders in mathematics, allowing them to participate in postdoctoral research environments that will have maximal impact on their future scientific development.
Professor Ilya Kofman (GC/Staten Island, Mathematics) is Boninger's adviser.
