Notification of Virtual Private Network (VPN) Software Client Updates – Tuesday, June 6, 2023

Affected users: The Graduate Center and the Advanced Science Research Center (ASRC) Global Protect VPN software client users.

Virtual Private Network (VPN) Software Client Updates available on Tuesday, June 6, 2023

Beginning on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, a new version of the Global Protect virtual private network (VPN) software will be available. This update ensures that your VPN connection benefits from the latest features and security updates available. On this date, the new VPN Software client will begin updating automatically upon logging in. Please be aware the process will disconnect any in-use VPN sessions, and users will need to reconnect once the upgrade completes.

A manual installation may be required if the automatic installation fails. Here are the installation instructions:
