Professors Win NSF Grant of Nearly $600K
Professors Raffi Khatchadourian and Anita Raja received support for their work to advance deep learning.
Professors Raffi Khatchadourian (GC/Hunter, Computer Science) and Anita Raja (GC/Hunter, Computer Science) received a three-year research grant from the National Science Foundation Software & Hardware Foundations program. The project, “Practical Analyses and Safe Transformations for Imperative Deep Learning Programs,” was granted a total amount of nearly $600,000.
This project is expected to increase deep learning system robustness, reliability, and scalability, positively impacting computer vision, autonomous driving, medicine, and extremism identification, according to an announcement from Hunter College.
