Student Emergency Grants from CRRSAA Now Available

Grants of up to $1,000 are available to students who are facing financial hardship as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Please note: all CRRSAA student emergency grants have been awarded and applications are now closed.

The Graduate Center is now able to make grants of up to $1,000 to students who are facing financial hardship, as a result of the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund, part of the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA).
 
The grant program prioritizes students with the greatest financial need, including but not limited to the following categories:
 

  • Unfunded health issues
  • Food insecurity
  • Housing loss or impending loss
  • Employment loss
  • Technology needs
  • Travel or other needs for international students
  • Child care issues

 
This round of funding ($93,815) is available to students who were enrolled in the spring 2021 semester. Another round of funding is expected in the fall.
