SECURITY ALERT - Suspicious Packages Containing Explosive Devices
NYPD reported that starting on 10/23/18, pipe bombs were delivered to the homes and offices of high profile political figures in and around New York City.
SECURITY ALERT - Terror Attack in Belgium
On Monday, 3/22/16, a terrorist bomb attack targeting an airport and subway station in Brussels, Belgium killed 35 people and injured over 300. There is no known nexus to New York City but both cities have similar infrastructure so now is a good time to review how we would react to such a threat or actual attack.

In the wake of yesterday's school shooting Umpqua Community College in Oregon, we are once again reviewing our present security posture and emergency operation plans and will be looking at strategies to prevent such incidents from happening on our campus.

The FBI Internet Crime Center reports that university employees across the country are receiving fraudulent e-mails indicating a change in their human resource status so perpetrators can steal employee credentials and access direct deposit accounts. This alert outlines precautions that should be taken to protect yourself from this type of crime.
