The history of collecting and patronage; the art market; 18th-century French art, culture, and decorative arts.
Blair is developing a dissertation on the history of collecting in the mid-twentieth century, specifically between postwar Europe and the United States through the life and career of a prominent dealer-collector.
Previously, Blair worked at contemporary art galleries for ten years, most recently as Director at both Lisson Gallery and Peter Freeman, Inc., and as Director of Exhibitions at Pace Gallery. She continues to work with clients as an art advisor, which informs her understanding of the ever-evolving art market.
