Specializations/description of Interest Areas: puppetry and material performance, Indian puppetry; Asian Theatre with an interest in intercultural performance; Political Theatre, focusing on strategies used by political activists. She is Executive Producer of the documentary film Magic in Our Hands (2014) and worked as dramaturg on Wind-Up Bird Chronicle (Edinburgh 2011, Singapore Arts Festival 2012) and Shank’s Mare (LaMama, 2015). She serves as Associate Editor of Asian Theatre Journal, a peer reviewer for Puppetry International and has been a board member of The Association of Asian Performance and UNIMA-USA.
