Dr. Ghilardi is a Neurologist by training with a 30-year career in research. The main focus of her research is Parkinson's disease and brain plasticity. She has published more than hundred research papers. She has previously worked at Mount Sinai Hospital and Columbia University. She is an Associate Medical Professor at Sophie Davis School for Biomedical Education and she also holds a position as Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Neurology at the Langone-NYU School of Medicine.
