Horacio is a Peruvian art historian who specializes in Latin American modern architecture, and in the history of exhibitions and collecting of Latin American art. Horacio is currently an Andrew W. Mellon Curatorial Fellow at El Museo del Barrio. He taught art history survey classes at Brooklyn College and Universidad Católica del Perú. He was awarded an International Program Grant from the College Art Association and the Getty Foundation to attend the 2016 CAA Conference. In Peru, he worked as curatorial and research assistant for exhibitions and publications at the Museo de Arte de Lima.
