Jorge E. Gonzalez-Cruz

My research interests include the exploration and understanding of the sustainability coastal-urban environments to include climate change detection, adaptation strategies, and resiliency of the critical infrastructure, particularly energy and water. The methods used for this exploration include regional climate and weather models, global and local gridded data sets, and satellite remote sensors.

I am a Presidential Professor at The City College of New York and Founding Editor of ASME Journal of Engineering of Sustainable Buildings and Cities
