Karen Hui is a Ph.D. student of Cultural Anthropology at the Graduate Center. Her research is focused on migrant worker women living in urban villages in Shenzhen, China; in particular, she is interested in how migrant women are central to the making of urban space. Karen currently teaches Cultural Anthropology at Baruch College.
