Karen is an Adjunct Lecturer at the Spitzer School of Architecture. Prior to joining the program, she worked as a senior acquisitions editor in trade book publishing for over twenty years and then as a literary agent. Karen has worked one-on-one with writers and artists developing projects for publication throughout her career.  Currently, she is an education volunteer with school groups at The Met 5th Avenue and The Cloisters; she also serves as a Collection Guide at The Cloisters.
