Klara Marton is a neuropsychologist with a doctoral degree in developmental psychology and a Ph.D. in speech and hearing sciences. She is interested in the development and interaction between language and cognition across the lifespan.
In her current research, Marton focuses on the relations between various cognitive factors, such as working memory and executive functions, and language processing in monolingual and bilingual children and adults as well as in different clinical populations. She is the director of the Cognition and Language Laboratory at the CUNY Graduate Center.
