Lauren Rosenblum

Research Interests

  • 20th century art of the United States with a focus on the history of printmaking as it relates to feminisms, counter-cultures, and progressive labor relations

Lauren is doctoral candidate in the art history program. As a fellow at the James Gallery, her recent projects investigate structural insecurities in academia and art museums. Prior to joining the program, she was a curatorial assistant in the department of prints and drawings at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, where she organized collections-based installations. Lauren has taught art history at the University of New Haven; University of Houston; City College, CUNY; and Purchase College.
