Lise Saari is an adjunct full professor at Baruch College and adjunct professor at the Graduate Center, CUNY. Her teaching includes undergraduate and graduate industrial/organizational (I/O) psychology courses as well as courses in Baruch's Masters I/O psychology program in Singapore and Taipei. Lise is also an adjunct professor in New York University’s graduate industrial/organizational psychology program. Previously, Lise was director of global workforce research at IBM in New York and London, senior manager of people research at Boeing in Seattle, and research scientist at Battelle Research Institute (Seattle, London, Geneva). Lise has served on the boards of the Mayflower Group, a consortium of companies focused on employee attitude measurement/research and the Society for Human Resource Management. Lise has over 100 publications and presentations. She is a Fellow in the American Psychological Association, the Association for Psychological Science, and the Society for Industrial/Organizational Psychology (SIOP). She has served on the SIOP Executive Board and is a SIOP representative to the United Nations. Lise has a Ph.D. in organizational/social psychology from the University of Washington, and her dissertation investigated employee motivation in both laboratory and field settings.
