Liv Mariah Yarrow

Liv Mariah Yarrow is a historian of the Roman Republic focusing primarily on numismatics and historiography.  She is presently co-director of the Roman Republican Die Project with Lucia Carbone (Curator of Roman Coins, American Numismatic Society).  The project is creating a search open access digital resource base on a paper archive of over 300,000 photographs of Roman republican coins organized by die, the best evidence collected to date for understanding the monetary system. She writes broadly on questions regarding the interpretation and dissemination of images and numismatic methodologies.  In her pedagogy, she is committed to the creation of open educational resources that empower students not only learn history but to create resources to make understudied materials accessible to the next generation: https://clas3209.wordpress.com/about/
