Miranda is a doctoral student in geography at CUNY. Before coming to the Graduate Center, she worked to advance community control of land and housing with community land trusts in Oakland and Berkeley, California, and in Somerville, Massachusetts. She holds an MA and BA from Stanford University and is a graduate of the Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs.
