Onaiza Arshad is a Ph.D. student in cultural anthropology at the Graduate Center. Her research focuses on the anthropology of mediation, image and built environments. Onaiza holds an Interdisciplinary M.A. from the University of Chicago, focusing on Anthropology and History. Previously, she was Program Coordinator for the Saida Waheed Gender Initiative at Lahore University of Management Studies, Pakistan. Currently, she teaches anthropology at Hunter College (CUNY).
