I graduated with a B.A. in Anthropology from UCLA. Currently, I work as an adjunct instructor in the Department of Anthropology at Baruch College.

My dissertation project engages the question of the hegemonic relation between socio-political mass movements and the state by examining landlord-tenant struggles in Los Angeles. I'm interested in the political possibilities and limitations generated through the convergence of rental housing financialization, the over-bureaucratization of tenant rights and eviction processes, and emerging tenant political and communal formations in the last decade or so.
