Pengfei Zhang joined CUNY City College in 2003.

Dr. Zhang's research centers on the occurrence, fate, and transport of pollutants in the environment, and the remediation of contaminated soil and water. He has authored or co-authored over 40 peer-reviewed articles with over 570 total citations.
