sai ying ng

Sai Ying Ng is primarily interested in the intersection between ancient philosophy and twentieth-century history of analytic philosophy, and is currently writing a dissertation on Plato’s epistemology motivated by changes in our conception of Plato’s episteme and doxa, or knowledge and belief, over the twentieth-century. She also has other interests in Wittgenstein, philosophy of literature, and Chinese philosophy, approaching these sub-fields by thinking about thick ethical concepts in literary and cultural works.
