Samer Al Khatib joined the Ph.D. Program in Linguistics in 2015 after serving as a visiting assistant professor at the Graduate Center for the previous two years. His work has appeared in the Journal of Philosophical LogicMind and LanguageThe Art and Craft of Semantics: A Festschrift for Irene Heim, vol. 1, and Vagueness and Communication. He earned his Ph.D. in linguistics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, his M.A. in linguistics from Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, British Columbia, and his B.Sc. in computer science from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver.
