Stephanie Levy is an assistant professor at Hunter College with training in human biology. Her research investigates human evolution, adaptation, and health by integrating tools from energetics and endocrinology. She seeks to foster comparative research that examines how ecological and social environments shape variation in metabolism and energy allocation across human populations and primate species.
