Current Projects

  1. Evaluation of transport of organic pollutants through the rock strata above a hydraulic fracturing site in central Pennsylvania. The project is in cooperation with the USGS and the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources

  2. Development of new chemicals based on the cyclic sugar cyclodextrin that can be used to separate toxic metal and organic chemical pollutants from water.

  3.  Testing of chemical treatment of surfaces to inhibit microbial colonization and degrade microbial pathogens in waste-waters.
