Established as a CUNY Campus partner, the Graduate Center draws distinguished faculty from throughout the CUNY system. Our world-class faculty and students have received millions of dollars in funding and regularly publish in top scientific journals. Our incoming students receive competitive five-year funding packages, and our graduates are employed throughout the academic and private sectors.

The CUNY Graduate Center supports doctoral and master’s students through a host of personal and academic resources and services, including a research library, a specialized writing center, legal consultations, counseling, and more.

Students in the sciences may be interested in the Science Communications Academy, hosted by the Advanced Science Resource Center.

Advanced Science Research Center (ASRC)

The CUNY ASRC is a premier scientific research institute that serves the Graduate Center and all of CUNY. Located in a 200,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art building in upper Manhattan, the CUNY ASRC fosters collaboration across disciplines and encourages groundbreaking research. Among the extraordinary resources onsite is a 5,000-square-foot cleanroom — the largest in New York City.
